Day 12

I feel I'm eating so much that it occured to me today during lunch, as I chewed my vegetables, that PCP secretly stands for Pig Condition Project. The thought vanished less than an hour later as the bloating sensation faded and Patrick's note on muscle stimulus raised the flag in my mind that I'm not being as rigorous as perhaps I should in keeping track of the rest times during workouts. Good to have a license to curse from now on.

  1. So tell me, why do you feel that "bloated sensation?" that goes away in an hour. What's happening internally?

  2. Patrick, I think that the bloating sensation is due to the amount of food. The fact that if fades away rather quickly I guess is linked to the exercise and also to vegetables, no salt and no oil making things easier on the metabolic system. I do wonder whether this week we were supposed to lose any weight. In my case, although the week is not over, I certainly feel my legs and abdomen are thiner and harder, but the scale remains halted at 75 kilos (same as the end of week one). I'm not really concerned, I think I'm following the diet very closely and doing the workouts as best as I can. And I also feel some muscles beginning -however timidly- to surface. I do know that there's a long way to go and I just hope that by the end of my PCP my weight will be around 70 kilos or hopefully less. I recall my weight when I was 18 was 68 kilos. Perhaps this is aiming too high, but it's really what I want. As always, thankful and open to your advise.
